I've been riding this old SuperCycle for over a week now while I wait for some parts for my Seek. There's something nice about riding one of these old cruisers around when the weathers nice.





A little note about this bike
I picked up a beautiful pair of his and hers 1970's SuperCycles (Canadian Tire branded bikes), that are actually old enough to be British Raleighs from head to tail. And all of this for the grand price of $250! These aren't mint, but for their vintage they are in excellent shape. Thank you Craigslist.

More AmpedBikes Tube Battery details

Just came across this tidbit of info on the AmpedBikes forum.

"I recently purchased the geared motor and asked Danny about he extra connections labeled not used. Here is his reply:


The extra leads are for PAS and connecting to computer. We have designed our own speed controller that will be embedded into the tube battery with wireless ant tech to the throttle and will sync with our iPhone and iPod Touch app for all the same functionality as the CA plus it has google map tracking and many other functions."

Jtek Bar-end Shifter in stock!

I've just received my first batch of Jtek bar-end shifters and am very close to having my online store up and running. Hopefully I'll have my own installed this weekend so that I can take some pictures for everyone to see.

Ampedbikes Stock Arriving Soon!

My order is in and stock is on it's way! Unfortunately supply was low at the warehouse so I am only going to be selling geared kits when my online store opens next week. But I've managed to bring in a handful of both 700c and 26" kits in front and rear configurations so hopefully most of you will be happy.

If you're desperate for a direct drive kit I will be taking back orders and will update the store and this blog with expected delivery dates.
